The San Francisco 49ers have released rookie linebacker Ezra Butler on the same day that word broke of his weekend arrest for DUI and marijuana possession.
Butler was undrafted due in part to a one-game suspension imposed on him in 2007 for smoking marijuana.
The move removes six points from the Niners in Turd Watch, since they cut him within a week after the arrest.

I guess none of his teammates took him aside and told him how not to get caught with the ‘juana. 75% of the league smokes this stuff.
On a different note - Nate Burleson is on NFL Total Access right dressed up as the guy from “The Mask”. I’m sure the green mask is sitting just off-camera somewhere…oh please let him wear it during at least one segment…
