Peppers is an amazing talent and he will be fine. He wasn't prepared to be the main man on the DL because he always had others to put pressure on the OL. So, I would say the Panthers should sign him now bc they have leverage. They could sign him to a deal with a huge bonus due next offseason. If he proves his worth then they keep him. But if he disappears again well then they can look to find a replacement without a huge financial hit.
