But, if he's going to use the past as his guideline, then why is he NOT favoring the Redskins? The Skins won the Super Bowl each year after the Giants did. We drafted Brohm because we needed another QB on the roster that could step in when Rodgers misses some time. That is all. We had no interest in the crappy lot of veterans like Holcomb, Frerotte, Culpepper, etc. Now IF Rodgers is a total bust in the next year and a half, we have another talented guy to step in and produce. And if Rodgers is the real deal like we think he is, than we have some future trade bait. I just don't see how drafting a guy in order to have two QBs on the active roster sends Rodgers a message. Marvel is going to be healthier than he was at the end of the year, Chris K should be ok, Simmons is Solid, Colon is Average. The biggest difference should be Hartwig, not because I think he is going to blow people right off the line of scrimmage, but hopefully he is a bit smarter than Mahan and will call the assignments better and not misread his own. The other part of the O line is run blocking has never been a problem, and hopefully Mendenhall/Sweed lessen teams desire to blitz.
