Shockey had his best season under Sean payton. Last year before the injury, in a game against Dallas Shockey had 12 catches and well over 100 yards. He's a stud and Eric Johnson's a dud! Our offense would be vastly improved with Jeremy at TE!

It would of been great for the Saints to get Shockey. Are tight ends are nobodys and he would give that tough guy image to the Saints O that we need. Beside we have Drew Brees and you know who is teamate at tight end in San Diago was. He would of been very productive in N.O. I guess the Giants believe in him then Boss.

If you were really watching Shockey you may have seen what I saw. It seemd to me that before he got injured he was growing up a bit, and not just the haircut. I hope to see more of that this year. Maturity, that is. All you haters in the NFC East would probably love to see Shockey go to NO. I would love to see him stay, and become a more productive part of an offense that is on the rise.

Call me naive, but I can this working out well. Eli seems to be more confident, he has a ring to help that out, and with Smith and Boss emerging and Burress getting healthy, things should really open up for Shockey. I'm thinking a 60-750 season might be possible as long as he fixes his biggest issue, which isn't the attitude thing but to stay freakin' healthy for a full season!

I don't put much stock in trade rumors of big name players.
See Donovan McNabb.

Enough with the popcorn, people like you Florio make T.O. smile when instead he should be practicing holding on to passes thrown his way.

At first glance, it would seem to be a good fit for both parties... Yet something tells me that New Orleans might be hesitant on taking on damaged goods and the baggage that comes with the Shock meister?

The Saints were offering a half a bag of Doritos and the Giants were holding out for a full bag when negotiations fell through.
