KJR radio in Seattle reportedly is reporting that Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu was arrested on Friday for driving under the influence.
Per the report, Tatupu blew a 0.15 percent BAC, which is typically the level at which a guy is too drunk to realize that he should refuse to submit to testing.
If true, our “Days without an Arrest” meter will re-set from “09″ to “04″.
Tatupu signed earlier this year a long-term, big-money extension. Hopefully, he’ll spend less of that money on booze in the future.

Pfffft .15 that’s not even enough to eff up Doug Flutie. I thought you were a man Tatupu. How are you going to be a role model for all those Seattle kids if you can’t even drive with a BAC of .15, Jesus.
When are these players going to learn. When Lord, when!? I guess Tatupu couldn’t afford a cab. That’s a shame cause he’s a hard working player.

Seriously, can these NFL players not afford cabs? If I was an owner or coach, I’d just hire a full-time driver and get a team “drunk bus” limo that is always on call for any player, and program the number on every guy’s cellphone speed-dial personally.

Based on BAC calculators you can find online he would have to have consumed at least 14 beers over a four hour period at his weight or 18 or so beers over an 8 hour period. That’s child’s play.

Ya know what. This really sucks. He is a very promising young player who has played beyond expectation and now he’s thrown in with the rest of the sh*t. I have zero DUIs. Zero arrests (been cuffed a couple times). It’s not rocket science. Young players who’ll never make in to the NFL look up to these guys as role models and Tatupu hadn’t projected the turd aroma others have. This truly bums me out.
