It’s now official — Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu has been arrested for driving under the influence.
(Apparently, when he was at USC with Matt Leinart, no one told Lofa that alcoholic beverages were intended only to be given to allegedly underage girls.)
The arrest came on Saturday morning. Tatupu was pulled over for driving 50 miles per hour in a 35-mph zone.

Although I’m not a fan of drinking & driving, I do like his response. At least it’s not a “I didn’t do it response.” Of course, that’s a little harder to pull off when they’ve got you in cuffs.

Maybe the league needs to make every rookie take a course on preventing drunk driving and teach them about BAC levels and when they should call a cab or a friend for a ride…its getting a little old hearing about these guys driving drunk all the time

I’m from L.A. thxkbye, its easy to hate USC. Trust me. And the only thing it stems from is their arrogance. Their old nickname was the University of Spoiled Children. Still appropriate as far as I’m concerned.

doyleg- It takes alot more than three beers to blow a .15. I weigh 210 pounds and it takes me about eight beers in two hours to blow a .15 ( I bought my own breathalyzer machine to save myself), and I’m assuming he has 50 pounds on me. Then take into account that NINETY minutes passed from being pulled over until the test was conducted. That easily wore off about .8%
