This is the part that burns me. How can an organization use a high draft pick on someone of questionable charicter. I know that people mistakes. BUT... The draft is investing in your organization. if you invest your time an money in a risky player.. You stand to lose. I know that sometimes you have to take a risk if there is an exceptional tallent at a possition of need. But looking at who was still on the board at the time of his drafting would tell me that Bills were just being stupid.

Aren't we assuming a bit much here? A "woman" called police. Who was this woman? Do we know if it was his mother? Hardy waived a gun? Where's the gun? As for the previous inceident...wouldn't he have been charged with more than just domestic battery if he had indeed hit a baby? You can be charged with domestic battery for something as simple as pushing someone out of the way. I'm not defending Hardy's actions in either case. If this most recent accusation is true (no gun and his father says everything is fine) then the Bills perhaps should be worried. However I think in light of other NFL players incidents, maybe we are jumping the gun (no pun intended) on Hardy. As a Bills fan, I truly hope this is merely a misunderstanding.

What!? A team other than the Bengals taking a chance on a guy with a history.

I guess that explains the "other" (non-Bengal) 188 incidents of NFL players getting arrested/cited since the beginning of 2005

(10 for San Diego, 12 for Denver, 9 for the Colts, 13 for Jacksonville, 11 for Miami, 16 for Minnesota (same count as Bengals), 9 for Pittsburgh, 15 for Tennesee (that's 9 even if you don't count Packman at all),.....getting the picture yet?)

People who still just mention the Bengals every time these stories come up seriously need to get a clue some time very soon.

I understand you want to report the good gossip but i noticed eveything on this site is looking to be a bad finder that's a pretty easy thing to do maybe you should start to report some of them things about yourself and see what the outcome is. I certainly hope you dont take pride in a job that is all you do is bash people .

Clearly, a history of violent behavior has no bearing on current violent behavior!

People who never committed a violent act are just as likely to pull a gun on their parents, and Koren Robinson's fifth DUI should be considered out of context of the first four.

ra189406, how can you call this story irrelevant? You must have your head in the sand or you're just that ignorant to think that this is irrelevant. When certain teams become aware of this "irrelevant" information they took him off their draft board.

ra189406, I defend Florio. It's obvious that certain sub-cultures have moral values that permit violence, abuse, and neglect of women and children. Note that I said sub-cultures, not race, as every race in our communities has examples and members. I used the word culture, in that it includes concepts such as music, phraseology, goals, status, and standards of acceptable/unacceptable moral behavior. Based on the report Florio provided, we are given information to categorize which sub-culture this man is a member of. I applaud Florio's cutting to the chase to the relevent and salient details of this NFL player's history in context to his recent criminal behavior.

It's hard for me to imagine a professional football player being a "scary dude". I thought they went around handing out daisies and helping little old ladies across the street.

Speaking of imitating Marvin Harrison (as you do in the other Hardy story), I see you're imitating the same "leads nowhere" trend of character bashing that you used in your repeatedly erroneous "reporting" of that case.

- Report a potential crime
- Report other irrelevant things in the past to ruin a guy's image
- Call for your own sanctions as the NFL and Police apparently aren't doing their job.

Bravo, Florio. Quite the bastion of integrity you are.
