Attention, all of you who will be at work and otherwise without access to the television on Tuesday. Commissioner Roger Goodell’s post-Walsh press conference will be aired on NFL.com.
After his meeting with the Commissioner, Matt Walsh will head to Washington for a sit-down with Senator Arlen Specter (R-Pa.).
Walsh then presumably will talk to the media at some point.

Kudos to Sal. I’m the first to say I think the Pats would have won all those games without any video assistance, but it’s the devious intent of the coaching staff (if there is any), all the secrecy and denial, that should leave a bitter taste in everyone’s mouth. And if Belichick was intentionally and knowingly trying to cheat, whether that cheating was actually worthwhile or not, he shouldn’t be an NFL coach.

Funny, the only Super Bowl they played in where they didn’t cheat they lost. And they even had Randy Moss and Wes Welker this time around. LOL. Tom Brady still has bruises from the maiming the Giants defense layed on him.

I can only wish that a team like my Lions cared enough to try and get an edge like the Pats. …or other named purveyors like Jimmy Johnson’s teams or Shanahan’s Broncos. Those teams have actually won something in the past 50 years. I guess you’ve got to nail down things like tackling and blocking before you start worrying about taping opponent’s signals. Maybe someday they’ll get good enough to cheat!

They made tapes because NFL coaches are obsessive compulsive freaks and that’s all there is to it. If it’s so effective and so easy to get away with, why aren’t all the teams doing it, just like all the teams violate the tampering rule before the start of free agency. All you guys all spun up about this story should just go back to watching Oprah and leave the rest of us to enjoy football.

And the Honorable Senator Spector’s questions will be what? “Mr. Walsh, do you have any evidence to suggest why Mr. McNabb puked his guts up during the Super Bowl when his team needed him the most?” This tool has so much work to do as a U.S. Senator and he’s wasting time with Matt bleeping Walsh. Amazing….
