In a news release issued on Monday, the Arizona Cardinals identified Lonnie Young as one of three scouts whose contracts had not been renewed.
As a league source explains it to us, Young’s contract wasn’t renewed because he didn’t want to continue to work there.
Per the source, Young turned down a promotion in Arizona to explore options elsewhere. He ultimately took a job with the Ravens as a scout.

Is that good or bad? The Ravens used to have a guy named Phil Savage who did a decent job. Now they’re signing Red Bird rejects.

hey turdbird man - why don’t you identify yourself as a clowns fan, or squealer fan. Look at the GM’s and coaches who worked with the Ravens that have moved up the ladder. Shack Harris, Phil Savage, Jack Del Rio, Marvin Lewis, Mike Nolan, etc, etc. Tell me a better pedigree in the last 5 years if you want to be upwardly mobile in the NFL. It sure ain’t the Clowns, the Squealers, or the Bungles. So identify yourself and let us take you out to the woodshed and spank you like you need.

Do you think Bidwill and Graves are wondering, “Jesus, did this guy scout the right players for us? Did he put 100% into helping this organization move forward?” He left because he didn’t want to be there? How long has he felt that way, and how soon did he sign with Baltimore? Christ, now we’re talking about teams tampering with scouts!
Just something to ponder.
Also, I haven’t figured out how they rank us commenters (Cheerleader, Water Boy, Division Champ, etc), but I think it is by number of posts? Maybe?

Del Rio has had one good season, Nolan, what’s he done? Marvin Lewis, what’s he done? What, they might have 3 playoff apperances between’em?
If you look at it that way, the dynasty that Parcells has left is going to be around for a while. Mangini, Crennel, Billichek, etc.
