"The Cowboys aren’t classy just because it’s posted on message board and TO isn’t a model teammate because Vox found a handful of quotes over the years. Step back and take an honest assessment, dudes."

The point is that we, as fans, can't make honest assessments because we dopn't have even the bare minimum of the required info. We've never been anybody's teammate, not in the NFL anyway. We don't know what goes on in the locker room, or in their personal lives. We only know what we read, hear and see, which is just a tiny fraction of the dynamic that makes up a team and the interpersonal relationships that exist within the team. The vast majority of TO's actual teammates that have cared to comment on the subject have characterized him as a good teammate. Is that true? Who knows? I have a hard time coming up with reasons that a guy might want to lie about it though.

"Hey Vox, I dont see any QB on that list."

You don't have to. QBs aren't the only teammates a player has.

"Yea, because they have nothing good to say about OD. "

You kidding? Plenty of QBs have had plenty of good stuff to say about TO. Some have even said that he's a good teammate.

"If TO is thinking that people think he's selfish, he's listening to 5 percent of the people out there." - Steve Young

"T.O. is a pretty good teammate" - Tony Romo

How many guys can you find that say he's not a good teammate?

"McNabb got them through the playoffs because TO was rubbing his vag… "

You're just hating now, especially considering that McNabb keeps kegs of Vagisil and Milk of Magnesia on tap.

"They should have played without him, would have probably won…"

Ha. As if McNabb wasn't going to choke on his own vomit in the huddle whether TO was there or not.

the 2004 season was a beautiful thing here in philly and i'll admit that i wish we still had owens. he's a headcase but who the heck cares? mcnabb certainly has his issues as well. what we eagles fans are truly pissed about is the "what could have been." suffice it to say banner and owens both screwed the pooch for us. couple that with owens putting up similar number is dallas only drives the knife deeper.

spoonman, not from Philly here, so nice try, but I couldn't care less about any of the teams in the NFC East. That just goes to show how much delusional 'Boys fans are. The Cowboys aren't classy just because it's posted on message board and TO isn't a model teammate because Vox found a handful of quotes over the years. The cowboys may not have won a SB since Clinton was in office, but the Eagles have never won a superbowl PERIOD. You freakin' babies. When your beloved #5 had the chance, he blew his mommy's chunky soup on the field.

This post is filled with some of the most ignorant statements I have ever read... For you TO minded people I am using ignorant as stupid...

Honestly, I am a Philly fan but I did not want TO here in the first place... I NEVER liked him... So you can stuff those comments up your arses... Second, To won what for the Eagles? NOTHING! McNabb got them through the playoffs because TO was rubbing his vag... TO came out in the Super Bowl ONLY and I mean ONLY to say he won the game...So when they lost he blamed everyone but himself... They should have played without him, would have probably won... Someone said it best, TO plays for himself and himself only...

This is all a stunt... and the onyl people blind to this are cowboy fans...

What's the Cowboys ranking on the turd watch again??? I think its on this actual site.... Someone go ahead and post that.

Count me in as another person who is sick of all the losers and whiners saying "JUST WAIT THIS IS THE YEAR" "JUST WAIT THIS IS THE TIME" TO WILL MESS EVERYTHING UP!!!!

Every single team in the NFL would love to have TO on their roster including the Eagles. they know bow that their problem was Baby Donovan. They would love to habe him back they just can't admit it.

I have also noticed this site pandering to Cowboy haters. Its obvious to regular readers.

RJS, a Cheerleader, says:

"Romo has gone to two Pro Bowls in his first two years as a starter and the Cowboys probably have the most talented roster in the NFC. Let the haters vent, if these losers are all we have to worry about then I’m a happy Cowboys fan."

It's great that the Cowboys sent so many players to the Pro Bowl. I agree that they have a very talented team. But the NYG sent EVERY player to the Super Bowl, when they had one Pro Bowler on the team. So that must mean that Wade Phillips is the worst coach in the NFC, and Coughlin is the best. I'm not a TO, Romo, or Cowboy hater. I attribute the Cowboy's problems last year to coaching. Phillips just let off the gas, and allowed people to coast. Simple as that.

And to all the Cowboys fans, don't get so worked up. It's only the internet!

“Romo has gone to two Pro Bowls in his first two years as a starter and the Cowboys probably have the most talented roster in the NFC. Let the haters vent, if these losers are all we have to worry about then I’m a happy Cowboys fan.”

It’s great that the Cowboys sent so many players to the Pro Bowl. I agree that they have a very talented team. But the NYG sent EVERY player to the Super Bowl, when they had one Pro Bowler on the team. So that must mean that Wade Phillips is the worst coach in the NFC, and Coughlin is the best. I’m not a TO, Romo, or Cowboy hater. I attribute the Cowboy’s problems last year to coaching. Phillips just let off the gas, and allowed people to coast. Simple as that.

And to all the Cowboys fans, don’t get so worked up. It’s only the internet!

This site usually panders to the Cowboys haters out there so it's interesting to see them post something positive, even if it all it does is provoke the Cowboys/TO haters into spewing their usual bile.

TO's been great since he's been in Dallas. Romo has gone to two Pro Bowls in his first two years as a starter and the Cowboys probably have the most talented roster in the NFC. Let the haters vent, if these losers are all we have to worry about then I'm a happy Cowboys fan.

Romo is so far ahead of McNabb and Garcia it's not even funny.
McNabb had his window of opportunity but he couldn't share the spotlight with T.O. He had to be the company man and couldn't bare a WR telling him that he's open 90% of the time. If you haven't noticed, McNabb's specialty is the short-game....i.e., dump the ball to Westbrook.

Anything beyond a screen pass, and the guy is as stable as Rex Grossman.

In comparison, Romo comes in undrafted and rips the league a new A-Hole with real completions....real reads and just as much mobility as McChunky Soup. Watching McNabb pass is like watching Shaq chuck free throws. It just ain't right.

Face it, Romo is a diamond in the rough...and McNabb is washed up and will never gel with any WR. Now that he has the mobility of Bernie Kosar, it's over. Just direct snap to Westbrook if you want a chance of winning.

Watch a Philly home game. 3 bad passes in a row, and the fans want his ass executed. They would love to have Romo instead of McNabb...Simpson and all. Philly fan would love to have Romo over McNabb. Print that in 3" bold.

That's why the Eagles are the Eagles. They could've went after a free agent WR or moved up to grab a skilled player but instead they go after Asante Samuel...who might not be as good as the guy he's replacing.

I love how the cynics keep saying "TO will explode, just you wait!"

First, it was "TO is going to poison the Dallas locker room!" Didn't happen.

Then, it was "TO will throw Bledsoe under the bus!". Didn't happen. He was supportive of Bledsoe.

Then, Tony Romo blew the kick hold, and it was all "get ready for TO to rip him to shreds!" Didn't happen.

Then, it was "oh, that was his first year. He was fine his first year in Philly too. Now THIS is the year he rips everything apart!". STILL didn't happen.

Someone call the Fed, because the TO cynics need more bail-outs than Bear Stearns.

"You can’t compare Romo to McNabb or Gracia."

Sure I can, and I will.

"Not until he’s won a playoff game."

Why should that stop me?

"When Romo can do that, maybe you can make a statement."

Got news for you, kid. I can make statements anyway.

"All sizzle, no steak.

"Treat T.O. like a man? Why does he need child proof caps on him medication bottles???"

Same reason you need them. Because the law requires that all medication bottles have child resistant caps

Honestly, aren't there any Eagles fans out there that are smarter than you?

"TO is not a team guy"

By most accounts that I've read/heard, he's a great teammate. Want some quotes?

"I know what a good teammate he has been" - Brian Dawkins

"He’s been so focused on getting to the Super Bowl and he’s been great for his teammates" - Andy Reid

"Yeah. T.O. is a good guy. I think you have to start with the fact that he's an excellent player, great work ethic, one of the truly great receivers in football, a good teammate, all of those things." - Jeffrey Lurie

"He's a good teammate, he's a good person" - Brian Dawkins

"He's a wonderful teammate" - Jevon Kearse

"He's a great teammate." - LJ Smith

"There's a misconception about him being this selfish player who is hard to get along with. He's a good guy." - Freddie Mitchell

"Anybody would like T.O. on their team." - Kevan Barlow

"and I doubt he has learned anything… he’s the same chump who was crying coming off the sideline in his first return to philly - Why the F did you bring me here…"

Can't blame him there. You don't bring a guy like that in for that kind of money to be a decoy. I think it was more on Bledsoe than anybody else though.

"He will never be a team guy, once he realizes that he won’t get his mega deal"

What are you talking about? 3 years $25 million ain't exactly chickenfeed. He already got a megadeal and he's probably going to get another one if he keeps playing like he's been playing. Seems to me like a lot of people think he's a team guy. Notice that I didn't quote any Cowboys players or coaches above... but I can. I kinda think the guys that he's played with would know more about it than you would.

"but this fairytale is about to end folks"

Been hearing that for over two years now.

"All that being said, if he could have shut his damn mouth - or if the birds would have shut it with cash - maybe Eli wouldn’t have been the NFC East QB holding the prize"

At least you admit that the problem may have been with Eagles management. I believe that if the Eagles had guaranteed that roster bonus, TO would still be an Eagle and who knows, maybe DMac would have a ring on his finger by now. But they couldn't do that, they had to be hardasses, I guess they were trying to set an example to all of the other guys who felt that they had gotten raw deals from the Eagles at some point or other. Well congrats, Joe Banner and Andy Reid, you "won" and at last check, you guys have the worst team in the division but company man and most emo QB in NFL history DMac is as happy as a clam once again.

must be a lot of philly fans here still crying about their disgrace in the big game.

only person that showed up was TO

he was worth the money, the team wasn't worth shit.

the boyfriends andy reid and baby donovan couldn't handle someone challenging their "success".

TO exposed the entire organization as the gutless losers that they are and he wanted compenstion or he wanted out.

OF COURSE TO IS HAPPY. IS THIS REALLY NEWS??

To Vox Veritas..

You can't compare Romo to McNabb or Gracia. Not until he's won a playoff game. When Romo can do that, maybe you can make a statement. All sizzle, no steak.

Treat T.O. like a man? Why does he need child proof caps on him medication bottles???

Honestly

Wow. Does Vox even have a job? Back off guys, it breaks down like this: The Cowboys are the model franchise (haven't won a playoff game since Clinton was in office) with the model QB (guy named after a steakhouse) with the model owner (rich white guy who made money in oil, gas now approaching $4.00/gallon).

It's obvious we're all just jealous of the Cowboys recent success(new stadium)!

Dear God, help Vox. He's a douche who knows not of what he speaks.

P.S. T.O. is equally a douche. I could provide a theorem or proof, but is it really needed?

Give me a break -

TO is not a team guy and I doubt he has learned anything... he's the same chump who was crying coming off the sideline in his first return to philly - Why the F did you bring me here...

He will never be a team guy, once he realizes that he won't get his mega deal (after the cowgirls lose in the 1st rnd of the playoffs AGAIN) - he's start to rip Romo - Pacman - and Tank Johnson... anyone but him b/c it's never his fault. I am amazed that he has maintained his incredible performance (statistically) - but this fairytale is about to end folks - not enough TO, not enough of the time. This dude might be the biggest ego maniac and attention craver of all time.

All that being said, if he could have shut his damn mouth - or if the birds would have shut it with cash - maybe Eli wouldn't have been the NFC East QB holding the prize

"Tony Homo couldn’t carry Big 5’s (or Garcia’s) jock!"

I'm pretty sure he's not interested, anyway.

"What has he won?"

Same as they've won.

"Wasn’t Dallas the number 1 seed last year? That 1 should stand for one and done."

So basically Romo did as good in the playoffs as those two combined.

Last year he was 8-8 and out of the playoffs. The Eagles are barely a .500 team with him starting since he lost his lunch at the Super Bowl. When's the last time he played a full season, anyway?
