recently i came across an interview with some black
ex football players who were pointing out the epidemic
of hypertension in the african american community.
very few ex players realized the scourge that existed
in their neighborhood.
hypertension is a quiet killer, most people rarely listen
to what their bodies are telling them.i'm too young or
i've never been sick before, are typical stances on heart
disease.foolish...hospital wards are filled with people
who think it only happens to the other guy

Look at me, Look at me! I'm special! What I do is the same as protecting millions of people from being murdered! I'm so self-absorbed I named my daughter Sea Sponge and my son Loofa! Look at me, Look at me!

I just hope that the NFL doesn't allow any of the former players to be treated by those dubious and insidious Indian charlatans going by the names of Doctor Patel & Doctor Kumar...? Has anybody anywhere ever had the good sense to check on their medical credentials? If they have any? Try checking up backgrounds at the University of Bombay? Yeah right...! These guys should be deported they are everywhere and the same modus operandi, can't speak any semblance of English and yet they always get paid before they ever see the patient... The Commissioner needs to discuss this at length. SAVE THE RETIRED PLAYERS...

>> since Denver quarterback Jay Cutler lost 35 pounds last season,
>> and no one bothered to give him a blood test

You are right on the money on this one; the Broncos have to know that anyone who is regularly using HGH should be screened for diabetes regularly. Just ask Wade Wilson.

Why is it the NFL's responsibility to inform former players to check on their own health?
