I don't think he's a bad guy, I think he's a guy who has recovered from his problems. Now, if you put him in a situation where there isn't strong leadership, and where people in the locker-room will tempt him to fall off the wagon again, you may have some problems. But if he were to go to the Eagles? The Buccaneers? The Bears? None of these teams have any real character issues on their team, and all have strong leaders at a couple positions that can help him stay out of trouble. The thing about Robinson is that he has said (and shown in his actions) that he genuinely wants to stay out of trouble, which makes him less of a risk for his team(s). Drugs, violence and steroids are one thing… but I don’t know many 20 something guys who don’t drink, and I’m sure all of us know more than one person who was busted for drinking and driving. I guess what I’m getting at here is that I think the NFL is getting a little stupid when their policies treat guys who have offenses related to drinking, the same as they treat thugs who are doing drugs, committing horribly violent acts, and literally cheating at the game by using illegal steroids.
