“It wasn’t too bad. I’m safe.”
Of course it wasn’t that bad. I mean, it’s Pittsburgh — the assailant most likely had the gun upside down and pointed the wrong way.

That is the problem with having the Chargers do so well drafting in such a short period of time. They can’t sign everyone, though they will have a better chance of signing most of the people if they try to re-sign them long before there contract is up. They can’t wait until a contract year to attempt to sign these people. The price will be much higher then. They need to re-sign those players that are the hardest positions to replace and then if they have any money left, then re-sign those position players that are most in need.
If they can’t sign them all, then I hope they at least trade the ones they can’t sign. Compensatory picks are fine, but that is not enough compensation for stars at any given position.

Seriously? This coming from the most polluted city in America? Not to mention the fact that pitt’s population is less than a quarter of philly’s, with more people escaping every year. At least you still have that booming steel industry. Right? Oh…

Who cares about Mendenhall being held up. I’ve been mugged at gun point, too, then shot at. It happens all the time in the city. Anything to make a story these days. Just like we need to know that A Rod passed out during the birth of his baby. Thanks ESPN for wasting my life watching a 5 minute segment on how it all happened. WHO CARES. They’re alive and they’re doing what they do best. Report it if he was killed or injured, otherwise it’s not news.
