Of course Shaun King didnt file retirement players. He didnt retire voluntarily, its just that no one wanted him. He still tries out every offseason.

Apparently he must have missed the series last year when they covered the Kansas City Chiefs.

Apparently Jerry Jones has a short memory. I don’t recall Hard Knocks bringing out the best in the players the last time the Cowboys were on that show. I hope being on Hard Knocks isn’t becoming a Madden like curse…

It’s hard to believe that Josh McCown is going to be the starting quarterback for any NFL team.

I’ve always hated the Redskins, always will, but is it possible not to like Monk or Green? I mean, you have to respect those guys. Even when they played they were great role models. Geez, can’t believe I’m saying something good about the Redskins. Yuck. But more players should be like Green and Monk these days, both on AND off the field.

And who told you first about “Kick ‘Em” Kemo of the Steelers? Yep yours truly. This big bad masher will make people forget about Faneca, who was on the downside of his career. Sorry, Brownie fans, the Steeler OL is going to be better than last year. You heard it here.

What McCown meant:
“I’m gonna be the starter because these other two slouches on the roster suck.”

Wait a minute, in the McCown article, Salguero said McCown was a rookie when Jeff Blake was there, but McCown was a rookie in 2002 and Blake was in Baltimore in 02. He didn’t go to Arizona until 03. Thus, McCown wasn’t a rookie when he was Blake’s teammate. Granted, that’s probably something that nobody really cares about, but that kind of thing bugs me.

I think that really says a lot about the state of the Dolphins, considering this guy couldn’t nail down the starting gig in Oakland. Besides, everyone knows that the Tuna is all about riding any vet QB he can get his hands on over a young guy with potential. (See Vinny/Bledsoe and Tony Romo) That still is going to be a really bad team this year. Way too many holes for one draft and a fish to fill.

oh, and there’s a distinct difference between the home invasions of NBA ballers and Mendenhall being robbed on the street at 2 in the morning. To a certain extent, you’re askin to be robbed on a city street late at night (no matter who you are), now if DMac got robbed in Moorestown that would signify being preyed on.
