Garrett Reid, the son of Eagles coach Andy Reid, reportedly will enter a guilty plea on drug smuggling charges.
Garrett Reid smuggled 89 pills into jail last November. The pills were found while Garrett Reid was awaiting sentencing on other charges.
So how did he do the smuggling? Well, let’s just say we hope that the guy who was able to produce an endless stream of McDonald’s hamburgers during The Longest Yard employed a different method.

kid is probly irretrievable for now. kid, hell, he is 27. and we all know what their incarceration rate is… (eyeroll)…
reid has what - 3 grown sons and one in high school. he better concentrate on the last one. this perp and at least one other are grown men and since dad obviously never controlled them before, he isnt going to personally do it now.
kids want to act up and not seek higher edification? move out, star boarders!
and gee, maybe dad shouldnt have spent all those nights sleeping at the club offices… and gone home and displayed some tough love… handed out pink slips… kicked ass.
better yet, keep his kids away from ballplayers!

Ya know, Andy, it’s water over the dam now, but if you’d just get a big bodied WR and a big RB (or actually use the one on your roster), the Eagles would score a lot more, and you could spend more time with your kids ensuring that each knew what should and should not go into his various orifices. Instead, we have your silly-arse, self-limiting, undiversified “system” that takes waaaay too much time to design, learn, and implement, and your kids, to get Daddy’s attention andto fill the void and compensate for lack of ultimate success, feel compelled to introduce drugs into their systems through their silly arses.
Grow a pair, Andy. Admit you were wrong, do the obvious and right things instead of trying (and failing) to be clever. Your kids are toast by now, but at least it would help the team and by extension their fans.

OK, I was kind of on the fence about responding to this one at all because it involves non-NFLers (”civilians” as Tony Soprano would say). But then I saw Bam at it again with his irreverant take on the American sports scene (via Pittsburgh)! And I just had to say that PFT is not really the place for an NHL donnybrook, so jettison the Pens talk. But if he must insist on low class posts then”Myron Cope is your goalie!” Douche.

He knew if the gooks ever saw the watch that it’d be confiscated; taken away. The way your Dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright.
