Former Bengals receiver Chris Henry is drawing the interest of a yet-unnamed NFL team.
Henry’s lawyer made that claim on Tuesday in order to obtain for Henry permission to travel out of the area for the purposes of visiting with said team. Henry is on house arrest in the wake of a recent assault charge, and the judge assigned to the case previously had denied a request that Henry be allowed to leave the area in the hopes of landing a new football gig.
“We’re willing to give him some latitude given the fact that he obviously needs to find some employment,” Judge Richard Bernat said.
Henry must produce a letter from an NFL team in order to utilize the permission to shed his digital jewelry and leave town.

Grulks
“Especially since I use this site as a break from work….so great, something I use to sidetrack me from the annoyances from work, has now become annoying…..;) ”
I feel your pain. I’m a Pats fan. Last year (inspite of being 18-1) was by far my least enjoyable season of football.
But if you where one of the people that “piled on” then FU. Good for the goose is good for the gander.

Kenton County Jail, and then it’s off for a short holiday in South Florida. It seems that Henry has broken his probation terms and certain County Prosecutors will be watching closely at the outcome of his “dilemma” in Ohio. Of course, there is always the NFL suspending him yet again for violating the terms of its probation. Not sure why anyone would interested in Henry, unless he being courted to assess the talent pool available within the state penal system

There is no way the Eagles would bring him in. None.

I love the Cowboys fans that are so sensitive about the history of their team…
While they don’t have a ton of turds on their team right now, you guys very quickly forget about turds of the past — Michael Irvin, Leon Lett, Nate Newton… Shall I continue?
With the exception of Oakland and Cincy, there isn’t another team in the league that harbors as many turds as Dallas.
Personally, I hope Dallas signs Henry so Romo can end up 0-3 in the playoffs next year, and there will be yet another turd to throw gas on the fire when it happens.

Baltimore. They probably are desperate to get Flacco a solid #1 target, so why not sign a talented thug?

I’m not sure if the Eagles would sign him, but Andy Reid may be interested in adopting him.

Dallas will do anything to win. Americas team? More like America’s Most Wanted team. A man is left paralyzed for life and Cowboy fans cheer “Pacman” Jones. What a low franchise

Henry would be the best receiver on the Eagles even with the ankle bracelet on.
