Former Bengals receiver Chris Henry is drawing the interest of a yet-unnamed NFL team.
Henry’s lawyer made that claim on Tuesday in order to obtain for Henry permission to travel out of the area for the purposes of visiting with said team. Henry is on house arrest in the wake of a recent assault charge, and the judge assigned to the case previously had denied a request that Henry be allowed to leave the area in the hopes of landing a new football gig.
“We’re willing to give him some latitude given the fact that he obviously needs to find some employment,” Judge Richard Bernat said.
Henry must produce a letter from an NFL team in order to utilize the permission to shed his digital jewelry and leave town.
So what team is interested in Henry? PFT Planet, drop your thoughts in the comments section. (As if you need an invitation to do so.)

Probably the Cowboys - Jerry seems to be trying real hard to be Bengals South. First Pacman now Henry (college team mates)

It won’t be the Redskins. They just picked up two WR’s in the 2nd round.

Eagles still have that bad TO taste in there mouths..
I say odds are the Cowboys or the Raiders… Al never turns away a name regardless of the rap sheet. Oh and he will find the cap room.. someplace.

My first guess is the Eagles, they have tried to get everyone else…if that’s not it then the only other place could be Dallas…they seem to be collecting turds..Tank Johnson, Pacman, why not add Henry, he can hit some of the local establishments with Pacman since Pac is getting ready to rat out his whole entourage. Tank can knock out the bouncers for them so they don’t get ID’d this time.

My bets.. either the Cowboys or the Raiders.. neither every turns a name away regardless of their rap sheet. Oh and Al can find some cap room for a name..

The Eagles are looking for an elite WR that can draw double coverage…not the Bengals’ #3 WR. It isn’t Philly.
The Titans could really use a decent WR.
The Raiders wouldn’t care that he’s a thug.
Dallas might think he’d be a good mentor for Pacman.

So this is where the hypocrits jump in? Those that instantaneously claim the moral high ground when the Bengals are concerned, but suddenly think that the Chris Henry type players are OK if on their team. He’s not going to be any different.

Eagles …they are desperate mcscab has maybe two years left and their receivers are pathetic. They are panicing because the cowboys solidified their secondary ,the skins actually added some receivers that may contribute this year and the gnats are the champs. The eagles pathetic draft of almost no one except a pet cat did little to improve their position. oh they’ll blow their draft again next year by trading their two no.1s to the bungles for chad if they dont pick up henry now. Henry would be a huge upgrade and he reflects the philly fanbase perfectly the only better fit may be the raiders.

Who cares where he goes he will spend most of his time
getting in trouble. He is a great Player if he just learns
to stay out of trouble. Teams needs to look at his track record
with the Bengals.
