Here’s a look at the rookie minicamp for the Jets . . . .
There’s a new No. 56 in New York.
The Jets’ first-rounders have questions to answer.
Rookie S Nate Lyles once thought during a college game that he’d been paralyzed.
The Jets want TE Dustin Keller, a converted receiver, to become a solid blocker.
Coach Eric Mangini was so happy about being back on the practice field that he was cracking bad jokes.
On Saturday, Mangini talked about RB Danny Woodhead: “He’s hard to find, and for a couple reasons, you know? [H]e’s pretty quick, he’s pretty elusive, and he’s done a good job mentally picking up the information. We just have to see how that continues to develop. But I’ve been pleased with what I’ve seen early on.”
Woodhead on his size (or lack thereof): “I’ve never gotten caught up in it. It’s never bothered me. I’m fine with how I am. I’m just going to work hard.”

I’m still trying to figure out how Damien Woody got the Jests to give him $25 million. I mean I know players are blackmailing MangIdiot left and right and just can’t stand him, but Woody’s taken it to a new level, somehow blackmailing him before even got on the team.
Must be some dirt he has MangIdiot from his Patriot days.

I really hope Woodhead makes the final roster. Hopefully he can beat out Jesse Chatman (if they’re planning on keeping only 3 RBs).

Wow, JoeSixPack is a real master of the play on words. How many writers do you have on your staff to come up with gems like those??

I miss Jonothan Vilma in green. He could’ve gone to Philly…

Hey itsacurse…I’ve noticed that people from that part of the country such as suxpack, tend to be slightly less intelligent. must be something in the water up there.

OH!!! I get it, now. You all took the “Six” in my screen name and changed it to “Sux”.
Quite the droll play on words, and one demonstrating a very high intellegience as well as a dry, biting, wit.
Touche’ gentlemen. You certainly do your fanbase proud.

The most intersting drill was the “Destroyer”. Manginia had his players attempt to grab a chunk of cheese off a mat before a giant iron rod snapped down breaking the players neck thus sufficating them.

Not sure when it started (long before Belicheat) but changing letters around to mock people and teams got old real fast. A well done insult is creative and unique.
