Will Mendenhall and Parker be blocking? Otherwise, it doesn’t make a difference when he puts them on the field. Steelers did a great job of pulling some real talented skill players from this draft, but I would be concerned if I was Roethlisberger, Parker or anyone on that offense about the failure to address the o-line this offseason. I guess they will just continue to rely on Ben’s ability to alude the pass rush and make plays out of the pocket.

I’ll believe Linta once Flacco’s actually in camp.
This is the set-up to telling everyone that if Flacco’s not there on time, then Linta and Co. are the ones who did everything they could to ensure his timely arrival and cast blame on the Ravens, since Linta “promised” Flacco would be there.

The only thing with Mendenhall is that he can’t block. However, I expect the coaching staff will fix that pretty quickly, so he should be a pretty good player by mid-season.

Frox, the Steelers were able to pick the skill studs that they did because of one single key FA move: picking up Hartwig. That will let them dump Mahan, and improve the O-line 100 percent. Plus, there’s a stud in waiting, Kemoeatu, ready to be unleashed on the NFL. Once again the league will learn the skill of the Steelers front office in replacing older declining “name” players with new improved talent.
P.S. The Browns are really going to stink next year.

“Bengals rookie DT Pat Sims quit football for a year after his sister died.”
Which is the only thing unusual I can find about his college career, after surfing around to understand some vague, unfounded “character issue” comments about Sims.
It’s sad that the whole “character issue” thing has gotten so out of hand that now a young man taking a hiatus from football because he’s sad over his sister’s death is considered to have ‘character issues’. Seriously people.

He must mean a volleyball, basketball, or baseball.

Did anyone read the Texans spin on their poor draft? That they got who they wanted because they all have high character and are apls off the field? What a load. Seriously.
Every time I look at the Texans draft I feel like printing it out, taking a dump, and using the page to wipe. Bring Charley Casserly back already…
