As far as we can tell, there are four players who were drafted despite pending criminal charges.  We’ve previously addressed three of them.

The Eagles took Wisconsin safety Jack Ikegwuonu, the Bengals selected defensive tackle Jason Shirley, the Titans picked linebacker Stanford Keglar.

The fourth is offensive tackle Brandon Keith, who was charged with three misdemeanors just last month.

Keith got the wrong end of a Taser as he was busted for disorderly conduct, rioting, and interfering with officials, along with two of his former Northern Iowa teammates.

Under the rules of Turd Watch, signing or drafting a player with pending criminal charges causes the team to assume the corresponding points.

Hey, we don’t make the rules, we just enforce them.

Oh, wait.  We make the rules, too.
