As far as we can tell, there are four players who were drafted despite pending criminal charges. We’ve previously addressed three of them.
The Eagles took Wisconsin safety Jack Ikegwuonu, the Bengals selected defensive tackle Jason Shirley, the Titans picked linebacker Stanford Keglar.
The fourth is offensive tackle Brandon Keith, who was charged with three misdemeanors just last month.
Keith got the wrong end of a Taser as he was busted for disorderly conduct, rioting, and interfering with officials, along with two of his former Northern Iowa teammates.
Under the rules of Turd Watch, signing or drafting a player with pending criminal charges causes the team to assume the corresponding points.
Hey, we don’t make the rules, we just enforce them.
Oh, wait. We make the rules, too.

By next April NFLN will scroll turd watch point potential updates during its draft coverage. 31 teams will monitor the offical TW website to maintain a competitive edge. (The Bengals scouting dept will somehow miss this resource) And Mike Vick will join the broadcast crew electrifying us with stir-ing spots such as proper bling to use with stripes or orange.

Did all those incidents for the new draft picks occur after the Superbowl or are the rules different for draftees?
