The Carolina Panthers have announced the signing of ten undrafted free agents.
They are: Casper Brinkley, DE, South Carolina; Chris Conklin, TE, Wingate; Cortney Grixby, CB, Nebraska; Breyone Evans, FB, Massachusetts; Joseph Fields, FS, Syracuse; Brandon Jenkins, DT, Mississippi; Damon Morton, WR, Colorado State, Taylor Tharp, QB, Boise State; Darren Toney, CB, Arkansas State; Dan Ziedman, P, Idaho State.
Each player must pass a physical and sign a contract before being eligible to participate in a minicamp that opens on Friday.

Wow. Somebody picked up Taylor Tharp. A decent decision maker without a whole lot of zing, though on the Panthers, he may actually have a shot at remaining on the roster.

Nah he just going to be a thrower until Jake Delhomme gets back. It will be difficult for him to make the team. Matt Moore is their #2 QB but if he can beat out Brett Basanez for #3 more power to him. Basanez has been with the team for 3 years.
