Adam Schefter of NFL Network mentioned earlier on the air that the Raiders were one of the teams that called the Rams about moving up to No. 2.
If so, who did the Raiders want? Surely not Matt Ryan. And with the Falcons presumed to be trying to choose between Ryan and defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, it could be that the Raiders were interested in getting up to No. 2 to get Dorsey.
So why do we mention this? Because Dorsey by all appearances will be on the board when the Raiders pick at No. 4, which will push Darren McFadden down to No. 5, and that will be the first realistic opportunity for the Cowboys to try to move up and get him.

Are you kidding????? You don’t think EVERYONE in that draft room has HOWIE Long’s cell number????!!! Chris long, they thought would fall to them at 4 for sure after Jake Long was the Fins’ choice. The RAIDERS LOVE legacys!!! If they come away without one of their greatest EVER players’ son, it will haunt that team forever!!! Al DAvis LOVES the Long family and has been charting Chris’ progress since he was born.
Don’t forget he drafted Todd Marinovich after his dad, Marv, played for Al in the 70’s!!!!

The attempt to get #2 has to be to get Chris Long. It’s all about sales, and a Long raiders jersey is going to sell and fill seats.
