Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown, the Cleveland Browns running back who is widely regarded as the best player in the history of the sport, has offered his help to suspended Cowboys cornerback Pacman Jones.
According to the Associated Press, Brown has had “several conversations” with Jones and his agent. Brown said he would like to help Jones with any issues that arise with his trade from the Titans to the Cowboys and with his appeal for reinstatement to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
It’s not clear how long Brown has known Jones, or what specific help Brown has offered to provide. Brown is the CEO of the Amer-I-Can Program, which teaches life skills to young people.

I can help pacman. How bout, put him in a work release program. Let him work out with the team, practice with the team, and play the games, but then put him on house arrest with guards, paid for out of his check. How bout signs outside of all night clubs stating, “do not let this man enter the premises”.I don’t like all the negative light shed on NFL players ( as if there are no criminals in all professions), but it appears Pacman has problems.

Dear Pacman: Pay no attention to Mr. Brown’s offer. I ignored his advice and my career has been an unmatched success. Signed, Maurice “The Grey Goose” Clarett.

Seems like a good fit, considering Pacman really needs to learn some life skills.
He’s a stupid kid. Hopefully Jim Brown can knock some sense into him.

Jim Brown is so full of himself…The only thing that saved him from being know as a thug with character issues was the type of media coverage of his playing era…He was a great player…but he should practice what he preaches. He seems to get a pass on all of his woman battering past just because he was a great player.

this is good news, Adam Jones, needs this type of leadership, they should get Adam Jones to live with a veteran teammate and keep him under warps, he needs to drop his posse, drop his pacman nickname and be referred to as “Adam”, drop the strip club hobby, and find a new hobby like being in the weightroom more often.

…and we all know how much Jim Brown helped Maurice Clarett.
I’m all for Jim Brown helping troubled youth, but he should focus on helping the PERSON 1st and the player second.

Also the best Lacrosse player of all time. Scariest sight in the Lacrosse world was Jim Brown with a ball in his stick heading your way towards the goal. I would have stepped aside and pointed, “The goal is that way there, Sir.”

Jim can loan Pacman him one of those goofy hats - then the bouncers won’t let him in the strip clubs. Brilliant!

What is Jim Brown going to do to help Pacman? Jim Brown
was not a man of character himself. How many women did he abuse after his football days? Alot of people have short memories.
Maybe he can teach Pacman how to throw women off of balconies?

I’m sure the Browns are thrilled with Brown helping out the team that is supposedly pissed at them for winning too many games last year. 3-Way-DA-Trade, Anybody?
Then again, Brown is an idiot too, and thus won’t actually be of any help to Pacman.

As a big time Cleveland Browns fan, I must say that jim brown is a complete and total horses ass. He’s an embarrassment to the Browns organization. Jimbo, it’s time for you to take your ball and go home. For good.

Everyone bring up Maurice Clarrett like its Jim Brown’s fault he went to jail. Obviously, Brown didn’t change Clarrett, but that’s Maurice’s fault. At least he tried. At least he’s trying with Jones.
