No one mentions that the Cowboys pulled a “Viking” and could’ve lost the guy they wanted. The Vikes still got their man.

I guess people choose to remember things as they will, not based on fact. Florio is usually pretty good about this type of thing though.

I agree with Del Rio on this subject matter, most of the teams that win super bowls, do so because of depth and the best way to acquire depth is to sign young players that are looking for a starting role and push themselves to the limit whenever on the field. As a non-Vikings fan, I'm glad they made this move, this may or may not pay immediate dividends, however I am certain it will come back to bite them in the near future.
