What do Carl Eller and Jared Allen have in common?
Okay, what else do they have in common? As of Wednesday, both will have been members of the Minnesota Vikings.
Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Vikings have reached a contract agreement with defensive end Jared Allen and a trade agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The deal will be finalized on Wednesday.
Allen was the NFL’s sack leader in 2007, despite missing two games due to a suspension. His first game was against the Vikings, and his performance was downright dominant.

Hell Yes!!! Finally this thing is over. I can’t wait to watch this season now. Watch the Williams Wall and Jared Allen. I also can’t wait to see Aaron Rogers soil himself on National Television.

Ah, at least when I saw the Eagles listed as a contender for Allen I didn’t put any stock in it. Another one bites the dust…

SUPERBOWL HOMEBOY! (LOL)
It is refreshing to see that a Minnesota sports franchise owner is willing to hang it all out for, not only the benefit of the franchise, but for the benefit of THE FANS! (BTW-Did you know that CarlPohlad is one of(if not THE) the RICHEST baseball owner in all of MLB???-Guess which MLB franchise has one of the lowest payrolls?)
It really doesn’t matter if Allen works out or not, but just the apparent committment by the Vikings organization to improve this team is just a warm breeze in a Minnesota April.
Thank You Ziggi!!

Williams Wall+Jared Allen+a rotation of Edwards, James(if knees are healthy), and Robison is going to be a studly d-line. With our 2nd round pick we should take a play making TE like keller or fred davis.

Wow, for it to have actually taken place, I wonder if CP actually got the 1&2 he wanted from the Vikes.

Why are the Eagles contenders for every good player? When I saw they wanted a DE, I thought no way. Now they are mentioned with EVERY SINGLE WR POSSIBLE. While they will probably snatch up a WR, I’m tired of seeing the Eagles tied to every player available.
But good for the Vikings. I expect them to have a hell of a season.

Let’s hope that KCs “plans” are better than the “pain” I’m feeling in my belly. Have a great career in Minnesota Jared. You’ll surely be missed by this Chiefs fan.

Boating Under the Influence probably is. You know, Land of 10,000 Lakes and all…
