As the 2008 draft approaches, we thought it would make sense to give the readers a vague idea as to what in the hell we will be doing.

Reducing it to writing also forces us to actually figure out what in the hell we will be doing.

For starters, we’ll be doing an all-day live blog of the Saturday proceedings, beginning at 3:00 p.m. EDT sharp.  Prior to that, we’ll simply be working the Rumor Mill, posting as many stories as we can.

We’ll continue with the live blog until the second round ends.  On Sunday, we’ll pick up with a live blog of rounds three and four.  We’re making no promises beyond the start of round five, and our stamina will be tied to how hard we work on Saturday.

Between now and Saturday, we’ll be cranking out the rest of the draft needs.  And we’re seriously considering the first-ever PFT live chats, using the Cover It Live blogging software, on Thursday and Friday, tentatively beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT each day.

The radio requests are also rolling in, and the schedule is on the front page of the site.  We ask you to support those radio stations that give us absolutely free advertising . . . suckers invite us to share in their valuable airwaves.

Finally, we invite our friends in the armed services to send a photograph of themselves and their colleagues hoisting a PFT Draft Day 2008 sign.  We usually get at least one good one to post on the site — we’re hoping to get several this year.
