Rams cornerback Fakhir Brown, who was suspended four games in 2007 for a violation of the substance abuse policy, has won an appeal as to another potential violation, which likely would have resulted in a one-year suspension.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Brown prevailed in the appeal and is working out with the team after missing four weeks of the offseason program, apparently due to the pending suspension.
Brown, his agent, and the team declined comment. Due to the confidential nature of the substance abuse program, the league will surely have nothing to say, either.

Travis Henry (who I predicted from the get go would win his appeal) … and now Fakhir Brown. Each drug appeal win is a slap in the NFL’s face, though it shows maturity on the NFL’s part to make a decision it deems fair.
Question: What the hell is going on? We, the fans, want answers.

If the dude was shaking Pacman down, then maybe that’s why Pacman paid him off. Maybe Pacman and the dude are working together, with Pacman providing the defense. So the dude does 6 months for extortion, instead of 15-20 for attempted murder.
