We’ve got a new set of PFTV segments posted and ready to roll.
And in lieu of taking up a bunch of space here with that YouTube television box thing, we’ll simply drop the links. The clip opens in a new window, so it will require minimal effort on your part to get back here.
First up, what next for the Ravens after Steve McNair’s retirement?
Next, a little more talk from the player who loves to talk, but doesn’t care about whether he says anything.
And we’ve got three draft previews — quarterback, running back, and receiver.

Florio you shoulda said the Baltimore Ravens should go with Troy Smith! Screw Kyle Boller haha. He’s bad. And I liked that QB draft analysis, as there might be some solid value a little later with a guy like Chad Henne. You know what, though? If you’re a team early in round one that needs a quarterback, you have to take Matt Ryan. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
And just one viewers opinion, but I prefer when the “YouTube television box thing” is on the website like in the past as opposed to a new window opening up to view the PFTV segments.
Go Bears.

With all the money you make from Sprint you can’t get Joe Brocato a decent tie? That thing is blinding.

Troy Smith is the most likely winner of the Ravens QB battle. Boller is more frustrating than he is terrible. He will make an Elway like throw on one drive, and then he will drop the ball with no contact or throw into tripple coverage while up 10 late in the 3rd against unbeaten NE.
Billick did totally mishandle Boller from day 1. He was a holdout and still started as a rookie on a team with the most pro bowl players in the NFL all still on top of thier game. The expectations along with his lack of ability, got him injured and he never really had a good OC or #1 WR. There have been some really good moments and even consecutive games like in 05 when he waxed GB and Minn back to back to knock them out of playoff contention. But then he had that terrible game against the Browns in week 17 and we got McNair.
So my take on Boller is he just needs a fat spliff or three or some sort of relaxation assitance, because from the neck down he is a better QB than anyone in this draft. He has also started close to 50 games with a winning record. He just plays the exact way he speaks. Pretty well just way too fast.
He also is a much more mobile QB than most people know because Billick almost had exclusivly doing a 5 step drop off the exact same ball fake on like 90% of his passing attempts. Boller could be a lot like Jake Plummer running a denver type of bootleg/ waggle scheme.
He can throw as far as anyone and is not very smooth in the pocket anyway, he seems to take less of a beating when on the move as well.
The Ravens should only be drafting Ryan at 8 if they would be starting him this year and had no playoff aspirations.
While most of the country is handing the division to the Clowns or Squealers, the Ravens know they match up very well aganst those teams and with a little better luck with injuries, have the talent to win the division by 5 games again like in 2006.
There are about 10 QBs in this draft who could be as good or better than Ryan in 2 or 3 years, and that is when the Ravens would want them to start, not roll the dice on another high priced rookie starter with a lot of ACC interceptions.

I like the links. The box’s never downloaded unless I cut off my firewall anyway.
Nice hair Kramer.
