I mean these prospects train their entire life to make it into the NFL, and for what? To get drafted by the Raiders? Nothing spells failure better than the current draft class of the Raiders. They should just bypass the draft, which in turn would give these kids a chance to succeed at their craft. Then they could afford to bring in free agent veterans that aren't 10 years long in the tooth with 1 foot out the NFL door. They could also sign rookie free agents, since they really don't have the expectations that come from big $$$ draft picks. Could this be a form of cruel and unusual punishment.
