JR's statement is a facade!. At the same event in which Goodell was speaking huh. "ain't that convenient! As Florio says "thanks to this here site", if a trade is suddenly made and then there is a equally sudden reinstatement of the pacman, then it would be pretty clear that JRJones and coerced the commish into it. This is a stall game...maybe to try and drive the price down, but also to try and blow smoke on the fact that the commish will cave at JR's will.

“It’s pretty much just floating out there without much energy or activity around it,”

WHAT A COD...The only thing floating is Jerryturd and Pacturd in the
Irving, AKA Turdbowl. Gee, I just bet my record of using "turd" in a single post.

Jones was going to trade, but wanted to sound out Goodell first. He told Pacman to hold off on applying for reinstatement until this happened. Goodell was there today. He told Jones that there is no way Pacman gets reinstated. So Jones backed off.

Jones is not stupid. He is not going to waste that much money on a maybe. He wanted to know what his chances were before committing. Now he knows, so the deal is off.

He's clearly bluffing to try to drive the price down. There's no way the Cowboys would be talking trade if they weren't positive that Pacman would be reinstated.

The truth is that Pacman would probably have already been reinstated if it wasn't for the Titans asking Goodell to keep him suspended. The last thing the Titans want is Pacman showing up at the team facilities and stirring shit up. Yeah, he's done some bad stuff, but he's been suspended for way longer than other guys who have done stuff that's just as bad or worse (Tank Johnson and Chris Henry somehow got reinstated).

Pacman will be reinstated immediately after he is traded to the Cowboys and not a minute before. Both the Titans and Cowboys know that.

As a Cowboys fan, I really hope we can get PacMan. I'm fully confident in the Cowboys ability to change players around and I think he would be a great asset.

Wow. I did not see that coming. But it could be posturing to tell Tennessee to stop being so stupid. You dont want him and neither does anyone else. I think the cowboys should say a conditional seventh for next year. Take it or leave it. They are going to cut him anyway.

Shows what a low-class team the cowboys are to pursue a guy like this. Guaranteed they will go after Vick when he gets out of prison.

As a Cowboy fan, I'm not holding my breath on this one. As I've seen all of the "Turds" of NFL and other sports leagues as well, some seem to eventually get it, but unfortunately most do not. Cris Carter is a great example of a player that got it, and was able to turn in a Hall of Fame worthly career. But, the Cowboys have taken on many projects, and for every Cris Carter, there are a dozen Lawrence Phillips. I would be OK with the signing, but I would give up much to get him, or expect to much in return.

I forgot one other item to consider. This is also going to give Goodell some cover to defuse any accusations that he's a Jerry puppet if (when) he does reinstate PacMan. Jerry certainly couldn't come out and say, "Of course my buddy Goodell will reinstate him. It's all arranged to happen as soon as I complete my trade."

I think playing poker with Jerry would be an entertaining, tho potentially expensive thing to do.

My bet is he's bluffing. I don't think there's any way he even talks about a trade unless he's reasonably sure that Adam Jones will be reinstated, and reinstated pretty quickly after said trade.\

PacMan's change of heart about 'applying for reinstatement', which, by NFL rules he doesn't have to do to get reinstated, this past Tuesday is part of the 'poker game' being played amongst the Boys, Titans, and PacMan, with both the Boys and PacMan playing against the Titans.
