With Edgerrin James not getting any younger (or any better), the Arizona Cardinals are looking at their options in the draft.
Per the Arizona Republic, the Cardinals have visits scheduled with Oregon’s Jonathan Stewart and East Carolina’s Chris Johnson. Stewart likely will be available when the Cardinals draft in round one (No. 16 overall), and Johnson likely will be available when the Cardinals select in round two (No. 50 overall).
In addition to James, the Cardinals have Marcel Shipp, J.J. Arrington, Chris Vincent, and Steve Baylark on the roster.

The only way the Cardinals could make up for passing on Adrian Peterson last year is by picking Jonathan Stewart this year. But I hope for Stewart’s sake… they don’t… because, you know… he’s good.

The Cards really think they need another running back? Really? Do they really think it’s a coincidence that Edge instantly sucked when he left Indy? How about, oh I dunno, some blocking?

Is JJ Arrington a bust? Man he looked good at Cal, what happened?

Arizona happened to JJ Arrington. Give them a few more years and they’ll be known as the RB destruction factory.

For all we know, Neil Lomax could’ve been the greatest QB ever to play. He just got stuck with the Cardinals.

Get some blocking before you get a new HB, besides Edge is a great person and role model for younger players. He gives back to his hometown community and the da u and has the Edgerrin James foundation
