In a move that might say more about the extent of the arm injury suffered by receiver Brandon Marshall than the team or the player disclosed, the Denver Broncos are take a close look at not one but two veteran free-agent pass-catchers.
According to the Denver Post, the team is close to signing Samie Parker, formerly of the Chiefs. Likewise, the Broncos are “deep in discussions” with Darrell Jackson, the former Niners receiver who was cut earlier this year after one season with the team.
Other receivers on the roster are Brandon Stokley, Glenn Martinez, Keary Colbert, Taylor Jacobs, Derrick Hamilton, Clifford Russell, and Edell Shepherd. Javon Walker was released after trade efforts fell through.

Well, it could say something about the severity of his injury or it could say something about the lack of ability of the remaining receivers on the roster.
Let’s face it, after Stokley, there’s a steaming pile of crap on the roster.

Outside of Marshall, Mike Florio may be their best WR.
