This years WR crop is enormous! Keenan Burton could be a starter in two years and he isn’t even in the top seven or eight. If a team is looking for a solid WR, they don’t have to go looking until the third round. Devin Thomas, Mario Manningham, Jordy Nelson, Early Doucet, Malcolm Kelly, James Hardy, Limas Sweed, DeSean Jackson, Andre Caldwell, Earl Bennett (holds the SEC career reception record and hasn’t even been talked about for Christ’s sake), Marcus Monk and Dexter Jackson all have first and second round talent. Even DJ Hall, Harry Douglas, Adrian Arrington, Evan Moore (huge target with big hands) and Darius Reynaud as darkhorses. This should be an incredible draft. Even more exciting to see will be the three Hawaii receivers: Grice-Mullens, Rivers and Bess. What’s their stock like, knowing they come from a “system” offense?

That’s really great for Pitt. We’ve got a great recruiting class coming in, the best running back in the Big East, and a coach with a sweet mustache. Let’s go Pitt!

Why do they make o-lineman run the 40? Doesn’t make sense. If he runs a 5.3 rather than a 5.5, does it really matter?

Yeah it matters quite a bit actually. A guard can be useless if he’s too slow to swing to the other side and block.

Brian Billick in the booth? Will CBS or FOX have someone employed to make sure that the 7 second delay switch is turned on so they can properly edit Billick when he starts dropping f-bombs?

I hope Billick likes doing Raiders games, because that’s all he’s going to get from CBS. Maybe if he goes to Fox they can upgrade him to Panthers games.

Now that Emmitt has that scholarship, he should crank up that engine and set sail.
