In response to Henry Plainview. I have watch half a dozen McFadden highligh reels. Thats why I don't like him. Not one broken tackle not one. That is what I saw when I watched Reggie Bush too. The whole thing was. Run to the sideline, Run to the sideline, use blockers well, back to run to the sideline.
Thats not going to work in the NFL. I think(from the film I've seen)that Stewart, and Rice will have the best Pro careers.

actually "ryand" that was Quinn's sister and AJ Hawk's wife. For your sake, I hope you don't meet either of them in person.

Dorsey will be a top five pick without question. Whether he lives up to the hype is another matter.

Why is everybody saying Dorsey has answered questions about his health? His 25" vertical jump, 8'4" broad jump and 5.1+ 40 time is more reminscent of a 350 lb. OG than a speedy penetrating (and undersized at 297 lbs.) undertackle-type DT. He DID NOT answer questions about his health! Eiher that or he just IS NOT explosive!

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan was a major faller in the draft. Considering his average or less physical tools and reputation as a gunslinger, he conjures memories of Tim Couch, Ken Dorsey and other weak-armed, slew-footed QBs from the past. Any team that selects him in the 1st round is making a HUGE gamble. All that money and years of commitment for a guy that MIGHT be a pretty good QB but simply doesn't have the physical ability to be a franchise guy? I'm thinking teams that want to win now (which is most of them now) will pass.

Since the Dolphins are supposedly looking at Long, I wouldn't be surprized if it is a bluff. I see Ryan going to the Fins. Do they really have a choice? Their QB situation is horriffic. Heck, their whole offense is horriffic.

Gholston is the guy I think will continue to see his stock rise and and get taken quickly. Picking a QB that high is always a risk (don't make me run down the list). Pass rushers are at a premium. Some say he's just a workout warrior. I think every coach thinks they can mold a guy with those measurables into what he wants on gameday (look at what Mario Williams did in just one offseason). Oakland? Atlanta? St. Louis? I can even see the Dolphin's justifying that pick (Ted Ginn kinda blows the bell curve).

Aaron Rodgers was believed not to slide. Same with Brady Quinn... I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan dropped right out of the draft because of his character problems and prior arrests.

Just kidding guys, but seriously, he could drop.

hey - BeaverThomasInSC
i hope to god you are correct. i did read that Fanene came back healthy and heavier and could be a great DT but we gotta get Ellis. why does dorsey get all the talk? i would rather have ellis over dorsey. i am really thinking the bengals def will move to the middle or better in the nfl by the end of the season. new D coordinator and Odam along with a DT from draft amnd we are well on our way. i cant wait to see sll the young DBs start all year over the old guys in dexter jackson and deltha oneil. who dey!!!!

you guys watch NFL Network too much. McFadden played in the toughest conference in football and dominated (not pac 10 like Bush). go watch game tape of him, not just what Mayock shows. he's like Eric Dickerson.

Well color me impressed, the PFT crowd is a smart one! I am of the same train of thought that McFadden could be the odd man out and not picked until the teens. He is simply not a full-time RB in the NFL, and you can't waste a top 10 pick on a guy you will always need to shackle with a "Thunder" RB complement.

I think DozenDeuce is wrong. Without a doubt, Daren McFadden is closer to Adrian Peterson's caliber than Reggie Bush's thus far. (And, for that matter, who knows how Bush will turn out?)

I felt pretty bad for Aaron Rodgers because he seemed like a decent enough guy but last year had Quinn's hooker-esque looking girlfriend to entertain us. She appeared far more interested in other things, including denying Brady Quinn a kiss at one point. Enjoyable television to watch as this poor kid is plumetting for all eyes to see his girl is like nahh buddy not until you're picked you're losing me money by the minute...

Unfortunately you are right though, even in college McFadden never showed the ability to power his way through opposing defenses. Also, rarely do you ever see him get any YAC or fall forward after contact. Although he should be able to adjust, do not be surprised if he struggles similar to Reggie Bush. He is slightly more powerful than Reggie though. In the long run he will be a very solid running back though. Watch out for Rashard Mendenhall to adjust better as a rookie have a Marshawn Lync-esque rookie year.

I know it's not a popular a**hole, I mean opinion, but I got a feeling Mcfadden will be an NFL RB closer to Reggie Bush's caliber than Adrian Peterson's. From the little gametape I've seen of him, he seems to be a guy whose natural instinct is to rely on his speed too much, one of those sideline-seeker types. And I guess I feel that NFL defenses are too fast for that kind of player to flourish. Guess only time will tell and for his & his team's sake, I hope I'm wrong. Okay, I don't really hope I'm wrong but I do wish him well.

If Atlanta doesn't get Ryan he won't slide any farther than Baltimore at #8.

All of these guys will go before #10 and Miami will be very Safe and get one of the Longs that will be able to play for 10 years.

Here's to the Bengals getting my boy Sed Ellis at #9 Baby!!!
