In February 2008, Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson was arrested for possession of marijuana. On April 3, a judge dismissed charges of driving while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
But Patterson was found guilty of “careless driving: likely to endanger a person.”
The Eagles declined comment. The finding exposes Patterson to possible discipline under the league’s Personal Conduct Policy.

Marijuana is a “Dangerous Substance”? Um…okay. So does this mean I should classify cars as a “Weapon of Mass Destruction” since they kill tens of thousands of people every year?
