Farewell, Gib Shanley.
Chris Carr is officially a Titan.
There’s not enough downhill running in college.
It’s time for Panthers QB Jake Delhomme to start throwing a football.
The Barber twins will be speaking at USF on April 10. (Well, Ronde will be speaking; Tiki will be pontificating and/or extrapolating and/or jibber-jabbering.)
Could Vikings C Matt Birk end up playing for the Packers?
The Chiefs ranked third in attendance in 2007.
Luke Petitgout and Donald Penn will compete at left tackle for the Bucs.
The Titans have a special logo for their tenth anniversary.

“The offensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers, by the way, is Joe Philbin, who was Birk’s offensive line coach at Harvard. Don’t think for a moment that Green Bay wouldn’t love to have Birk, 31, who intends to play several more years, if he becomes available. ”
These people just do not get it. Ted doesn’t want other teams veterans.
Ted is about the draft…period. Birk is exactly the kind of player Ted will never pursue…expensive and near the end of his career.
The Packers have also invested a ton of time and picks into Colledge,Barbe,Coston and Spitz and Wells last year signed a 5 year extension.
There have been tons of players ‘the Packers would love to have’ over the last 3 years and Ted never even made a call much less got serious about bidding.
Plus,GB has way too many young studs to lock up over the next 2-3 off-seasons to sign a 31 year old to a big contract.
Last year the big talk was how GB was all over Adalius Thomas and how Moss was all but a done deal. The media treats FA like a kid fixing his rosters on Madden 2008….”oh,that guy would be great there and his 3rd grade lunch room attendant coaches there”.
In Green Bay free agency is all about ‘wake me when it’s over’.

Gather ’round children….I want to tell you ’bout a team from Texas that used to be a ton of fun to watch…with the likes of Bum Phillips, Earl Campbell and Warren Moon, they were called the Oilers and we yelled “Luv Ya Blue !” every Sunday…then a rich, ego maniac, greedy jerk named Bud Adams made a decision….
It’s still a sad story for many Houston fans…RIP Oilers.

The article about Birk is from an unreliable source from the St.Paul Pioneer Press. This is the same guy who still claims that WR Michael Floyd will consider signing with the Gophers. It’s stupid to even listen to anything he writes.
