Though it’s something that likely wouldn’t even merit a mention if it happened to any other player, Bengals receiver Chris Henry was ticketed last month for driving a vehicle with an expired license plate.
Henry was stopped on March 16, and he paid a $149 fine on March 26.
This incident pales in comparison to Henry’s past entanglements. He was suspended for the first eight games of the 2007 season due to repeated violations of the Personal Conduct Policy, arising from matters such as a gun crime in Florida and giving alcohol to underage girls in Kentucky.
Given his history, however, you’d think that he would be doing everything he can to dot every “i” and cross every “t” when it comes to complying with the law.

Yeah Florio, your average-Joe would be dotting the “i’s” and crossing the “t’s” - but Henry has proved to be an entitlement guy. The sort of respect and good behavior we’d expect will never come from a guy like this. The rules don’t apply to him.
