Displaced by the acquisition in Tampa of former Saints center Jeff Faine, former Bucs center John Wade is now in the mix to be the current Raiders center.
Per media reports, Wade has signed with the Oakland Raiders.
Wade started every game at center for the Buccaneers over the past three seasons. He joined the NFL in 1998 as a fifth-round pick of the Jaguars.
