So much for the rumor that former Giants running back Tiki Barber is out at the Today show.
Further research into the question has yielded the following fruit — Tiki’s role will actually be increasing, as he prepares to report from the Olympics in Beijing for the long-running NBC morning program.
We’re also told that Barber will be doing more for NBC News and Dateline. But his role at Today won’t be decreasing.
Barber joined NBC last year, securing an assignment both for the sports division (on the Sunday night NFL pregame show) and on the news side.
To summarize: Rumor existed. Rumor not true. And on we go.

Looks like the rumor was fallacious, fictitious, concocted, unfounded, and spurious (Thanks, Tiki).

This will be sufficient motivation for me to take an extended leave during the Peking Olympics.. Like I was gonna watch before they put this dufus in front of a camera there.. sigh
Hey Florio, why don’t you see if you and the guy on Florio-Vision can get a gig doing spots for the Olympics.. you guys at least pronounce some of the words correctly, and have at least passing acquaintence with what they mean.

oh no the talking head is now going international others countrys already had issues with us this is not good.
And as a side note when watching sunday night football does anyone else have to wear sunglasses to sheild their eyes from Tikis teeth dang they are bright.
