Gifford was selected a couple weeks ago (although not officially until today). I'm not sure that Tiki was ever in the running. He is, however, still on tap to do NBC Olympic coverage for Women's Cross Country Freestyle Skeet Shooting, and I hear he's in the running for the part of Willis Jackson in NBC's revival of Diff'rent Strokes. Viva la Tiki indeed.
