Dorsey’s stock is on the rise? Based on what? That his measurable numbers were so much worse than almost all DT’s at the combine that there are either major questions about his health or explosiveness? At only 297 he managed a very poor vertical jump of 25.5″ and a broad jump of 8′4″… both numbers would have been among the worst at the combine among the DTs then take into account that at 297 he would have also had been among the lightest. His 40 time of 5.13 was decent but still not the 4.8 or less that other 1-gap guys like Warren Sapp, Tommie Harris, Jovan Haye, Booger McFarland logged when they ran in the past. Questions still remain about his health and if there are no questions about his health then his explosiveness is not up to par and all NFL GMs know it. Anything any GM says about him having a great workout is a smokescreen…there’s no chance they were impressed. Don’t be surprised when Dorsey falls out of the top 10.
