Running back Michael Pittman wanted to test the market.  Four weeks later, he’s still on the shelf.

Per TBO.com, several teams have shown interest — specifically, the Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, and St. Louis Rams.  Pittman’s most recent team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, haven’t.  But they might if/when he gets an offer elsewhere.

The 31-year-old veteran, who started his career with the Arizona Cardinals, has been nudged out by a numbers game in Tampa.

In 2002, his first season with the Bucs, Pittman started 15 of 16 regular-season games and helped the team to its only Super Bowl win.
