This is his fourth team in four seasons - not exactly a great career path.

Caldwell will never again have a season like the one he had in New England. When you look at what Brady was able to accomplish that season with the nag-like stable of receivers the Pats had, it's amazing. In some ways, it's nearly as notable an accomplishment as his record-breaking achievements with Moss and Welker.

Makes sense. Saunders gets a "coach", someone that knows his system. Granted, Holt has played in his system before, but Reche played with him last year.

Wonder what this means for the rumors of them going for a WR early in the draft. They'll probably still add one, as they need some quality youth, but maybe they wait for the 3rd-5th range instead.

I'd be surprised if he makes the final roster.

I thought Caldwell was unhappy with Washington's offense. Why then would he go to the Rams, who now employ the same offensive coordinator he had while with the Redskins? Maybe he thinks he'll get more looks with Bulger than Campbell? Maybe his unhappiness eased and feels that he might have a leg up on non-Saunders-educated receivers in St. Louis?
