But Brian, you’re missing the point. Pacman isn’t an active player, he’s suspended indefintitely by the NFL. The only thing that Goodell has said about Pacman’s case is that he’ll revisit it sometime before training camp. He hasn’t said a word about lifting the suspension or acknowledging that the suspension would just be through the 2007 season.

Arora is trying to generate some buzz to make his client relevent again. But nothing has transpired at this point to suggest that this clown will even be allowed to play in ‘08.

Great! Wonderful! send all the social rejects in the NFL to Dallas. Allow Jerry to take everyone that is implorable and does not represent the best of the NFL. If Oakland is where players go to die, than Dallas is where players go to self promote and implode!
(insert T.O. clip- “he’s my QB!”) Please, let Ocho Stinko go to Dallas! Let Pacman go to Dallas! Let T.O. become the ringleader and see where the team goes from there. Regardless of TD’s or receptions the measure of a man is how well he works with others. T.O. is done being productive. His numbers will decline sharply this year…mark my words.

Jerry loves a good reclamation project and Pacman is the biggest one in the NFL right now. The reports that are coming out now have the Cowboys as the only team really interested in him but we will see how long that lasts if he gets reinstated.

Pacman is the one active player I would never touch, no matter what. Allegedly, his repeat, inexusable offenses was the cause that paralyzed a man for life. His track record is what it is. If it came down to winning the Super Bowl or getting fired with a 7-9 record if it meant not signing Pacman, I would choose the latter.

I say the same for Michael Vick. Literally hanging dogs, electrocuting then, drowning them, and slaming them to their death (*allegedly). This is unforgivable, and Michael Vick should never be allowed to play in the NFL again, though he will. Other than these two examples and Leonard Little, it is important to forgive and give second chances, but not with fellas like these, including the current example, Pacman Jones.

Florio isnt suggesting here that TO would have accepted a min contract. Just that, only the Cowboys were willing to take the risk of giving him a ton of cash. If the Cowboys hadnt offered the big cash, TO probably would not be playing

Of course they paid TO well. What, you think he would have been happy with a minimum contract? Seriously? COME ON, FLORIO! He turned the Eagles inside out over money issues. Pretty quickly you’d have gotten the imposion that you’ve been craving for over two years if the Cowboys hadn’t paid him well. And know what? So far he’s been worth every penny. 28 receiving TDs over the past two season is tops in the NFL, including Moss.
