A day after laying off eight non-football employees, the Denver Broncos have hired a new one for the other side of the business.
According to Adam Caplan of Scout.com, Wiegmann has agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the team.
Wiegmann started every game at center for the Chiefs since 2002. The Chiefs made no effort to bring him back.

I never thought of Weigmann as being one of the problems along the KC line; but still, that entire unit needs a makeover, so I’m not shocked they had no interest in bringing him back. He’ll bring some stability - no flash, not a mauler, but he’ll do his job.
