To the extent that the Houston Texans are trying to emulate the Denver Broncos, they’re already doing so in one not-so-desirable area.
Another one of them has gotten busted.
Last month, it was receiver Jerome Mathis. Now, it’s receiver Jacoby Jones.
According to media reports, Jones was arrested on Sunday morning for driving while intoxicated.
Jones was busted at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, and released on a $500 bond.
And thus the “days without an arrest” meter re-sets to zero, and the Texans will get three more points when we migrate Turd Watch II to the new PFT site.

It’s nice to see “Cincinnati South” start to move to the west… As much as I think that it’s idiotic that players get DWI’s in any circumstance, it’s nice to have it NOT be Jacksonville that gets the heat.

It seems the counter gets reset to the number of days after the event. I think it should be reset to zero on the day it’s reported here. In this case it was reported quickly, but that’s not always the case.
