You just can't miss OTA's, training camp, and conditioning in your rookie year and expect to make any significant contributions or be an effective NFl player. It puts him behind the 8 ball out of the gate and it is going to be some time before he can catch up. Even Mcgahee needed almost 2 years before he could make any significant contributions.
