The Cleveland Browns announced on Thursday that cornerback Gary Baxter has re-signed with the team.
James Walker of the Columbus Dispatch reports that it’s a one-year deal with a $720,000 base salary. Baxter also can earn up to $1.6 million more in incentives.
Baxter tore both patellar tendons in 2006, and has not played since.
In fact, he has played in only eight games during three seasons with the Browns after joining Cleveland after spending his first four years with Baltimore.
