Quarterback Trent Green recently announced that he has been medically cleared to play again.

And now he has taken his first offseason visit.

According to the AP, Green dropped in on the Saints on Monday.

The current starter in New Orleans is Drew Brees, and Green would definitely be a backup there.  But maybe that’s a better situation for Green than risking his melon on every single play.

The Saints also have re-signed receiver David Patten to a two-year deal.
