With veteran running back Warrick Dunn on the market, one of the teams for which he’s interested in playing has a blue star on its helmet.

According to Albert Breer of the Dallas Morning News, Dunn’s representatives have contacted the Cowboys to gauge their interest.

The Cowboys reportedly plan to take a wait-and-see approach, which sounds to us like a polite way of saying “don’t wait to see if we’re interested.”

Dunn already has visited with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He played in Tampa from 1997 through 2001.
